Gorgeous views of the cathedral and a lovely courtyard for relaxation made our stay delightful. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and offered extensive recommendations. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh waffles that I can't stop thinking about. However, the bathroom sizing was quite cramped, and navigating the narrow staircase to our room took some getting used to. Despite the few inconveniences, the charming decor and friendly atmosphere created a memorable experience.

La Lanterne Chambres D'Hotes is filled with charm, though the parking is an absolute nightmare. Expecting complimentary breakfasts with a price this high would have been lovely, instead, I had to pay 11E each! A room upgrade would have been appreciated, but who am I kidding, right? I just couldn’t give a good review.

Breakfast was a delightful experience, featuring delightful local pastries, served while overlooking the stunning cathedral. The location is ideal, being perfectly situated in the heart of Sarlat, allowing us to explore the charming streets and historic sites effortlessly.

Although the ambiance was enchanting, we found the bathroom a bit cramped. Navigating the narrow spiral staircase to our room was also a challenge, particularly after a long day of exploring. But overall, these were minor inconveniences in this picturesque retreat.
